I always have these brain-child ideas to throw a party, whether it's for the Chinese New Year, the season finale of Lost (before it got lame), a "couch warming" party (we didn't have a house yet) or my favorite...a Halloween party. I love to cook something up and have people over... but not until I go around the house and boss my poor husband around for days on end before the appointed time. He lovingly puts up with my neurosis.Saturday, we had Jameson's friend party. We had 6 cute little boys (and a couple of straggler sisters) over to play games, decorate sugar cookies, eat and mess up the house!
I put Nate on a rigorous work schedule for 72 hours before the gala began. He finished unpacking us, completely turned around the yard, organized the basement and did numerous last minute installations.
You didn't know I was married to Bob the Builder? That shirt is HOT!

Sounds fun! I like parties, too - but only if they have lots of food. Did you dress up?? What's your secret to getting him to work? Please share. I have to bribe Sam with "cookies."
Rest assured, we had all kinds of food. When you say "cookies" with quotations...does that mean something sexual? Ewww! Just kidding :)
