27 Days of Thanks, continued...

2008 has been an eventful year for our little family. We battled with the oil refinery and got them to buy our house, purchased a new house and did some major renovations, started Kindergarten and went to China. Today I am thankful for my memories of our trip to China. I have been reminiscing and thinking that someday I would love to take our little boy and even adopt a little Chinese girl (not likely...have you seen their requirements?)

Nate and I do not travel. I think we would do it more if we didn't always seem to have these home remodeling projects or simply feel like there is somewhere the money should go besides a vacation. Needless to say, it was a big deal to go abroad. Nate planned the trip for our 10th anniversary last spring. We left our little boy behind in trusted hands of our family and set off to see new things, try new foods, meet new people, experience a new culture and celebrate being married for a decade.

We will always have fond memories of our trip to Beijing, China.
