It's a love/hate relationship

5 reasons I love having a new puppy:

1. They are awkward and clumsy.

2. When they cock their head to the side and look at you like, "You appear to be speaking to me but I have no clue what you are saying."

3. They are the most forgiving beings around.

4. It doesn't take much to entertain them.

5. They bring smiles to your child's face.


5 reasons I hate having a new puppy:

1. They are like newborns. You sleep when they sleep.

2. They have an insatiable need to put everything in their mouth.

3. They are untrustworthy...when it comes to the pee pee and the poo poo thing.

4. I spend way too much money on lint roller refills (for pet hair, not lint).

5. Your husband pretends to be asleep in the middle of the night.
