Trouble in Hollywood? Just Ask Me!

As many of you know, I like to think my opinions matter. Particularly when it comes to celebs, running a business, advertising, etc. Yesterday I was having my windshield replaced and had an entire hour to kill in the waiting room. Of course there was a TV in that waiting room (along with complimentary water and coffee) but all they played was a DVD continuously on Techna Glass. Meh. I did bring along my book I have been reading, but then I noticed a large stack of People and Us magazines right there for my reading pleasure. Alright, now we're talking!

So here are my answers to some of today's problems in Hollywood. Uh hmm, listen up please...

Brangelina...trouble in paradise? Rumors have been circulating for a while now that Brad and Angelina's relationship is on the rocks. Answer: the problems lies with Brad's goatee. Ewww! Who wants overgrown, graying, straggly facial hair? Shave it! Things will inevitably get better...and quickly!

Mariska Hargitay was quoted as saying something along the lines of her show's ratings falling and it being due to Jay Leno's Tonight Show moving into "her" slot. She alleges that people do not know when its on and therefore do not watch. Answer: Sweetie, we currently have an overabundance of crime dramas on the tube. Maybe your Law & Order: No 12 has just run its course?

Tiger Woods. Really? People are so up in arms right now over his behavior. I'm so over it. He's a celeb/pro athlete - that's what they do. It's part of the territory. Choose a different hero, preferably someone who is not famous.

And finally, Lost: The Final Season. Well it's about time! I admit I enjoyed the first season. Nay, adored the first season. I even held a Season Finale Lost Party complete with Island Refreshments. Then season 2 came along and well, huh?? Lost's tagline is "All the pieces come together". Yeah, right. They are all going to wake up like Bobby Ewing did and it will have been a dream. Mark my words!
