Vain

When I'm not helping Jameson with putting on his snow boots (yes, you read that correctly...it's one more way that connects him to Star Wars characters...black boots=Darth Maul) or loving on my little Car Car or scrubbing my parent's toilets (because if you have cancer or your spouse does, you shouldn't have to scrub your own toilets) then I'm experimenting with my hair. Yes, I'm just a little vain, ok really, it's more just a hair thing. Hair has always been my thing. And recently mine has grown long (thank you prenatal vitamins) which makes my husband happy but the last time it was long was back when spiral perms were the thing. So I'm just trying to find ways to get it to look stylish and not just long - know what I mean? What's the point of long hair if it just lays there, right?

So here is me trying out the orange juice can-sized velcro rollers to add some body. I have naturally wavy hair so I don't know if these are really the ticket. And why do they not make hot rollers in 3-inch size?? I sooo need to design some and become rich (or at least pay for living expenses) because I know there are lots of girls out there that want jumbo hot rollers. I just know there is.

I wear it up a lot because well, it's hot (and I don't mean sexy hot, I mean post-natal-my-hormones-are-all-out-of-whack-and-it's-summer-hot) and because it's easy-peasy. Hopefully it's not too frumpy. But like I said, it's post-natal time, I'm allowed a little frump.

So there you have it.

P.S. One of these days I'm going to update my cooking blog because I've tried some new ones that are deliciously easy. However, that requires me to take pictures and download them and I don't like that part.
