It's a good thing

this kid is so cute (I'm biased I realize that) because his ultra sensitive gag reflex is about to do me in. Just wanted to share some of his cute pics from his First Birthday shoot we did with Sprout Photo back in April. We had so much fun doing them, especially with his very own chocolate cake and nakey boy shots at the end. He's growing so incredibly fast, I honestly can't believe it. I know everyone says that, but I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Oh little one.

Here are a few things besides the vomiting whenever you do the "cry it out" technique:
-This kid LOVES fruit...fruit of any kind but especially strawberries
-He worships the ground his big brother walks on (and big bro is pretty incredible with him too)
-Carter has tons of naturally curly locks. The wetter the hair, the more tiny curls
-He likes to "vroom vroom" his cars across his little old man belly
-He is fascinated with wheels...pretty sure he is going to be a tire salesman at some point in his life
-His vocabulary currently consists of mama, da-da (but prefers "Nay" for Nate), woof, "owe" for meow, "bra-ber" for brother, and some kind of word for food/strawberries
-He does not like bread whether it's a homemade roll, grilled cheese sandwich, PB&H...nothing, nada, you get the idea
-There's never been a stuffed animal he didn't like. He cuddles/wrestles with teddy bears and walks around with smaller ones on his shoulder.
-A blankie is of utmost importance...well and there's the issue of the bottle too but we won't discuss that here
