Remember this scene from Mary Poppins?
You know the chalk drawing that they jump into and have an adventure.
Do you also recall when this happens?
It rains and the colors bleed. I found a similar scene on my kitchen, dining room and living room floor yesterday morning. This will teach me to stay home from church with a sick toddler that was up the better part of the night. I went downstairs for something and was gone no more than 10 minutes. When I walked back upstairs I discovered 3 bottles of full-size sprinkles dumped everywhere on the floor then creatively doused with water. Creating a multi-color swirling effect.
The floor was such a mess I couldn't retrieve my camera for pictures located on the other side of the room. I just stood there thinking (and saying not Sabbath-worthy things) where do I start? A vacuum? A mop? A phone call to Officer Long to get home?
Yes, Pablo Carter creating yet another masterpiece.
Ah, the carefree, innocence of those early days;
it was so darling for this little one to make a mess with his
first birthday cake.
Little did I know then what I was creating by doing this.
