10 Things I Love About This Summer

1. I love that June has had its fair share of cooler days.

2. I love that we are getting our money's worth out of the crab sandbox we purchased for Carter...albeit the money's worth has come from Big Bro and Big Bro's friends.

3. I love not having to worry about weekly spelling tests and homework.  Although we are working on summer learning - multiplication, writing paragraphs and as always, reading.  Love the relaxed schedule.

4. Love seeing my two cute boys (wait three cute boys) in shorts!

5. Love my Sonic, Orange Leaf, or shave ice in the heat of the day.

6. Loving all the blooms in our yard.  Officer Long is working hard on mending our backyard from last year's wind fury and it's coming along.

7. Love that Jameson was able to go to scout day camp and have a blast.  A wise spender; he didn't even spend the pocket money I gave him at the trading post...he felt like a whip just was not a practical purchase.  True story - his words.  Thank you neighborhood and ward ladies for making camp happen.

8. Love that Carter can't get enough of "out" and his chubby cheeks come back inside all flushed.  Love that he had to have the kid-sized shovel from Lowe's so that he could work right alongside his dad.

9. Love the whole nautical look this season.  I'm a sucker for navy blue you know.

10 .Love that Officer Long has some vacay days coming up.
