Jameson had his flu shot today. Most of the time I think it's important to prepare a child for what is going to happen...give him some transition time...but not in the case of shots...oh no! I didn't inform him of our destination until we were in the car. He immediately began to cry...with tears! You would think Jameson has been traumatized by being poked repeatedly by needles. Not so. He's had a few along with his regular immunizations. Anyway, today I am thankful for medical technology. I am thankful that I live in a day that my child will not suffer and die from things like small pox or be permanently disabled from polio.
So after the flu shot, I asked Jameson how it was. He said that it didn't hurt as bad as when he had to have 5 shots for Kindergarten, but it did hurt when the nurse hit his bone with the needle. I know my child has super skinny legs but really... :)

I had to trick Chelsea into getting her flu shot to. It was funny. Oh, and I'm talking just a few weeks ago.
