I don't know if you are like me, but I notice stuff. Often, it's not the critical stuff that gets my attention. I realize I have a thing for advertisements whether it be television, publications or even a billboard. I seem to take note. Not always with the consumerism view that the ad was intended but more the analysis of what the ad execs were up to. You remember the Sierra Mist logo
debacle? These things plague me. Maybe it's because I was a graphic design major for a year or maybe it's because I'm a jerk and like to make fun of things or maybe it's just because I just have have too much time on my hands. Who knows? I've even gone as far as contacting corporate offices with my opinions. Just ask the receptionist at Quizzno's Headquarters.
So the other day I was driving around and saw this billboard...

I was instantly wigged out. Look at the guy's toes on the right! I honestly thought he had four toes instead of the customary, reassuring five! In fact, I had to go past a duplicate billboard and pay close attention to make sure the ad was not for some plastic surgeon reconstructive procedure being offered. When I noticed it was the Ad Council's I was a little more lenient with my criticism - after all, they are non-profit and it's just encouraging dads to take a more active role in their children's lives. Still, the sight of this picture will always produce some anxiety for me.

That is funny, I never would have noticed that guy's toes, now that's all I can see!! I wonder if he can't wear flip flops with those toes?
How funny that you chose this particilar bilboard. It took me about twenty times past it to figure out that it was a mans feet. I thought it was some kind of animal and it drove me crazy not knowing what the puropse was. Chelsea had to point it out for me.
I had to work last night. let me know when J has another t ball game.
I think you have too much unstructered time on your hands--spelling doesn't look right. You need to come and act as a consultant at the Smith home-alias Meth kids.
This is Brenda by the way--too lazy to sign up again and forgot my info from my last one
Keep your eyes on the road.
what happened with the Quizno (opps don't know how to spell it) receptionist? p.s. this is alicia
This one really bugs me too, because I have a thing for ugly feet. When I see someone with crazy, wigged out feet, I cant stop looking at them. (their feet). It's like a weird fetish I have. Nicole
