Back-to-School Feast

First, let me say that I got the idea for this feast from the inspirational Nie Nie. I thought it the perfect way for The Boy to begin an exciting new first grade year.

Feast Menu:
Brie & English White Cheddar with Grapes, Apples and French Baguette Slices
Glazed Ham (The Boy's favorite)
Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Petite Peas
Buttermilk Biscuits with Homemade Strawberry Jam
Brownie Trifle Featuring Fresh Blackberries, Strawberries and Raspberries

Guest of Honor:
Jameson

Other Special Guests:
Grandma Jan (JoAnn)
Bomp (Grandpa) Wade
We dined on delicious food and ended our feast with Nate giving Jameson a Father's Blessing to begin school.
P.S. Don't even try to get your 6-year-old to smile naturally. It's not going to happen.

Such a great idea. I saw Nie Nie's post and thought to myself, "That seems like way too much work." But look at you. :)
