If you're reading this to find out the baby's sex, your efforts are futile. As unpopular as Nate and I have been with friends and family, we've chosen to be surprised come spring with the birth of our little one. We had our main ultrasound earlier this week and saw some great pics of the baby's face and feet (so cute). But when we tried to download them to post here we were unsuccessful. So you know where we live, come over and we'll let you see them. Better than vacation pictures, I promise.
We brought big brother Jameson with us so he could see his little brother/little sister on the screen. He loved it (or probably loved the fact he was missing school to be there) and could actually make out spine, feet, arms and legs...better than some adults that still can't seem to make out ultrasound images.
We did discover that my extraordinarily large baby bump is that of a 22-week one, not 19 weeks as we were previously told. So that puts the due date somewhere right around the beginning of April. Each time I've been seen, the date seems to move up. I'm not ready for he/she to be here in March, so hopefully we're at the correct date.
Meanwhile, we are having fun getting ready for Christmas, especially The Boy. He is working out the details of Maizy (our pup) to be in her kennel so as not to 'ninja' Santa's cookies on Christmas Eve. You know, all the important details.
