If you don't already have this fun little vintage guy (he reminds me of the elves my Grandma Miriam used to have in her house at Christmas time) then head to Barnes & Noble (cuz they're the only ones that have any left in stock) and read the book with your little one.

Jameson got one for his birthday earlier this month and after learning that the elf would sit somewhere in our house and report back to Santa on The Boy's behavior, he only had one word, "Creepy". Which I guess in a way it is but he totally got into the whole thing the next morning when the elf had hid in a new place during the night and he had to find him. We've had a steady stream of good behavior these past couple of weeks...

Wonder if this would have the same effect on husbands?
