2010 is here! Can you believe it? I can't. It sounds like some log date on Star Trek or something. Anyway, we were lucky enough to get Nate in for his Ulnar Nerve Decompression surgery in 2009 (December 30th no less) where our out-of-pocket maximum had already been met. Very lucky indeed. Who knew a little nerve (that sometimes is referred to as your 'funny bone') could do major damage? Nate is healing well and hasn't minded the extra pampering from me. Did you know that a nerve will regrow itself (in most cases) at a rate of one inch per month? For The Huz this means in approximately 2 years he will hopefully have nearly full function of his hand and fingers. For fun, go HERE to learn all about this temperamental little nerve.
