Dream Jobs

Preface: I got the idea for this post from another blog.

I sincerely love my job. One time when I didn't think I wanted to be a social worker anymore, I took a sabbatical for about 5 months and played assistant manager at Williams-Sonoma. I think it only took 6 weeks for me to realize that I wanted my true calling back. That's when I started working at the homeless shelter...been there 10 years now. So yeah, I like it.

But if I could do something where money, ambition, family and child care were not an issue I think I could do the following jobs with minimal training and probably really enjoy them...even if it was for only 2 months:

Florist
Real estate home staging
Food photographer
Piano teacher
Bed & breakfast manager
Bakery worker
Assistant to Clinton & Stacy
Elementary art teacher
Private detective

And here are some dream jobs that I would love to have but would require a significant amount of schooling/training that I'm not about to do:

FBI profiler
Medical lab technician
Marine biologist
Editor
Nurse
Art history professor
Child psychologist/researcher
Wedding planner
Paralegal
Paleontologist
