Maybe she is a girl?

It's been fun waiting for this surprise to arrive. Almost everyone is convinced that the little one that I have been carrying is a girl. That includes strangers, specifically cashiers and store associates that inform me that I am indeed having a girl. Interesting. I guess I'm feeling like it could be a girl as well, but this is probably only because everyone else seems to think so. I think it would be hilarious if it was a boy. Everyone would be so, so wrong.

Some ask how this pregnancy has differed from my other one with The Boy. In many ways, it has been the same, but in one way, specifically CRAVINGS, it has been quite different. Let's review, shall we?

With Jameson I craved:
Red meat and lots of it
Crab - as much as I could get
Nothing remotely related to chicken (eww!)
No sweets (and that's a big deal because I have the world's biggest sweet tooth)
No lemon in my water (again, a big deal for this girl)

With this pregnancy I have craved:
Sour Patch Kids or really anything sour
Popsicles, specifically peach Astro Bars from Pace's
Chinese food
All those cheeses they say not to eat - bleu cheese, goat cheese, feta, etc.

So in this way, things have been pretty different. I must say Nate absolutely loved me pregnant with Jameson because I craved the red meat and he's a meat-and-potatoes kind of guy. Not so much this time. But he does enjoy the occasional sour gummy candy I have laying around...
