Inquiring minds want to know

No, not about the sordid details of birth...but if you do, Nate got a great view of the entire c-section and I know he'd love to share...

About my latest product review...right? That's what you were thinking I know.

Enter: HeelTastic

And no, I did not purchase this on TV. I've learned my lesson - remember The PediPaws Incident of '08? Anyway, I purchased HeelTastic at my local Walgreens. I've been looking for the latest and greatest way to keep those dry spring heels looking and feeling soft.

I liked the idea of a "roll on" (easy application) and hoped that perhaps my before and after pictures would look somewhat like these:

Well here's the low down: You will either like the smell of the product or hate it. I think me being post-partum and nauseous, I didn't care for it. I did like the way it rolled on and seemed to instantly moisturize. But it stopped there. The softness wasn't long lasting and here's the worst part. It makes your feet collect dirt. I wouldn't say it's sticky but it leaves your feet kind of oily and that picks up every speck of dirt in your sandals and on your floor in your house. Thumbs down! I don't need to be reminded of my floor and its constant need to be vacuumed. No amount of softness is worth grimy heels!

Bottom line: skip the $9.99 HeelTastic and use your favorite moisturizer. I'm still on the lookout for something that will revolutionize my life. Stay tuned!

Maybe your heels didn't look as bad as this before picture so you couldn't get the same results.
