My Sweet Car

Merry Christmas Everyone! Today and yesterday has been spent with family - games including some seriously competitive BINGO, gift exchange and a Christmas quiz; delicious food; seeing nephews that I haven't seen for way too long; watching little boys open up presents from Santa and tracking The Big Guy on Google and listening to favorite Christmas music - all in all a pretty successful last two days.

Some may call this a "sweet car"

But this is what I consider a truly "sweet Car"

or sweet Carter for those who do not know him by his nickname. Man this little guy is fun. He looks like a little elf here don't you think? He was so funny...every time the flash would go off he was hamming it up.

And this kid is growing up way too fast.

Love him and his questions about how the whole Santa thing works, why we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in December and his careful consideration when he picked out his gift for his little brother...the Elmo doll (which was well received).

It's late, I'm tired and we have early church. So Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night!"
