Anyone remember this SNL parody? I thought of it this weekend when Officer Long came home after working 9 extreme days straight, sicker than a dog. (Which by the way, where did that saying come from? My dogs are rarely sick.) I purchased some NyQuil for him so he could get some sleep and hopefully a little break from his coughing.
And I'm not lying here...24 hours later he was up! Mind you, he did get up for a couple of restroom visits (thankfully) and caught a few minutes of the news while munching a few crackers (in bed) but that was it. I've never seen anything like it.
Here's to feeling better Sweetie, I've got a honey-do list for you a mile long...
