A Florida Christmas

No, we didn't Christmas in Florida this year but right now it is forcast to be 60 degrees today. We need some snow! Even Jameson who is skinny and has a hard time staying warm wants some of the freezing white stuff.

Our Christmas has been a low-key kind of one. It's been nice. I took this week off from work and have been a homebody. I've enjoyed it and I honestly think both boys have too.

I don't have any pictures because we caught it all on video. So come over and hang out with me in my pajamas and I'll show you our Christmas morning on video! (And ladies, makeup is not allowed.)

Here are some highlights:

My favorite part of our Betenson Family Christmas Eve party...the $5 gift exchange. You know the one with presents in the middle and dice where you can steal other people's presents? So me!

My favorite part of Christmas day...having Nate home with us! He had the day off (I'm sure it will never happen again).

My favorite thing Jameson received...a telescope. So cool.

Jameson's favorite thing he received...Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Black Pearl ship. 804 pieces and he did it all himself.

My favorite thing Carter received...his vintage kitchen in aqua blue. I find myself wanting to simmer something on its retro stove.

Carter's favorite thing he received...the shopping cart. But definitely not the pretend food packages that came with it. They just tick him off because the pictured food is missing from the box.

Sure do love those boys! Glad we got to hang out with them last night. No mention of Christmas Bingo....not even JP gettting make up?

I'm going to have a homebody Christmas one of these years. Kendall and I both had the week off and we spent it running from one family party to the next.

BTW-Legos are NOT my favorite gift this year. I have stepped on them and retrieved them from Amelia's mouth all week!
