From sun to snow

The Huz and I were able to get a trip to Vegas in this past week. This was my first visit to Sin City. While it offered some of my favorite amenities: beautiful food, shopping and a break from the routine, I think Nate needs to go with someone younger (and not pregnant) next time. I haven't walked this much since I was a high schooler visiting Europe. And the thing is, The Huz never wanted to stop. I thought I was doing great spending the entire day sightseeing on foot, but when evening hit, he was ready for the casinos and night life.

Thank you to Aunt E and Grandma JoAnn for taking care of The Boy while we were away and Grandpa and Grandma Long for putting up with Mocha and Maizy when we could not. Grandma JoAnn and Bomp Wade brought Jameson with them to southern Utah where we met up for a family party. We celebrated what would have been my Grandparents 100th birthday. Thanksgiving food, cousins and Bingo were the highlights. Have I ever mentioned I have a thing for Bingo?

Oh and my belly popped out this past week as you will notice in the second picture.

Cute belly! Looks like you had fun. We sure love having that "j" at our house. He will have to come over again soon.

I love it when the belly pops out because then it's longer a question of if I'm pregnant or if I just had a large lunch.

I'm so glad you got to get away! Your first trip to Sin City - really? Where is that tree with the face?

It was so fun to see you and visit for a bit. You have such a darling family. I'm so glad you are able to expand it. You should come visit So Ut more often. Thanks for letting Devin swim with ya'll. It was a great party with good company.
